This is a shock and certainly something I know has shocked the entire family at 96.3, of which we feel a part of as well. In a time like this, there just isn’t words to say, you feel so numb, and only feel like your thumbling through to find the right words. Our hearts go out to all of you and to her family. This is going to be a great loss to all, as she was a great inspiration to everyone that knew her, the lives she touched, not only at WJBZ, but through the television program as well. Please extend our heartfelt sympathy to all, our prayers and love and know that we are praying for everyone there. We love each of you very much.

  1. Our hearts are broken this morning at our loss of this dear sweet friend and mentor. But Charlotte has reached the banks of the Promised land and has reached out and touched the nail scarred hand of her loving Savior. She is reunited with her mom and dad. We thank her for her legacy and her faith. Our tears are many but for Charlotte it is truly party time. Well done good and faithful servant.

  2. I’m deeply saddened by Charlotte’s death. My prayers are with Doug and his family, friends and all the members of 96.3′s radio family. Some of my earliest memories are going to Mull’s singings and watching the program. I was small enough to be carried in my daddy’s arms, we went to Knoxville, Chattanoogna, Etowah… I pray that Doug will continue the Mull family legacy, my radio is never on another station, unless the Vols are playing and it’s not televised. May God bless you and hold you close and comfort you!

  3. So Sorry Charlotte will be greatly missed.

  6. I am so sorry to here of Charollette’s passing. but she is in a far better place. She has seen our Savior face to face and touched his nail scarred hands. She left a legacy for each and everyone of us. The Mulls left something behind that is hard to find this day and time. I loved to hear her father preach. And she was forever telling us all how much she loved us. I have her family in all my prayers. I pray for her son, and all the radio station employees and everyone who loved and will miss her.

  7. The Mull’s Singing Convention has been part of my family’s Sunday morning for as long as I can remember. My family watched as both Reverend and Mrs. Mull went to be with the Lord. We were touched by Ms. Charlotte’s faithfulness in continuing with the program even though we saw her sadness that seemed to never go away. She carried the “torch” as long as she could. I just pray someone will pick up where Charlotte is leaving off. The Mull’s Singing Convention should go on!

It has been a great joy throughout the years to listen to Preacher Mull and Mrs. Mull and then Charlotte as we dressed for church. Many lives have been touched by their faithfulness in spreading the gospel. Our prayers are with the family and with the Praise 96.3 team.

  17. I was so shocked to hear of Charlotte’s passing. She was my exercise partner in gym class at Fulton High in the early sixties. She was a lot of fun. I watched the Mull’s Singing Convention as long as I remember. I also loved going the Gospel Singings (especially at the Knoxville Civic Auditorium). Those were such good times. The Mull family has certainly put Knoxville on the map of Southern Gospel Music. They will all be missed for many years to come. 22. My sweet elderly mother & I looked forward to the Mull Singing Convention every Sunday morning for so many years now. We felt as though we had been told of a relative’s death upon hearing of Charlotte’s passing.
